Motion: Minimum Honoraria for Tenure-Track Faculty

Whereas,

- $4,000 is the minimum payment allowed for a non-faculty member, and

- It is right and proper that regular faculty members receive some extra remuneration when they agree to take on additional teaching duties at short notice,

Therefore,

- The minimum honorarium for any tenured or tenure-track faculty member who is requested within two weeks of the beginning of a semester to teach an additional, overload course in that semester shall be $6,000.
