Bio

PhotoSilvia Comuzzi-Sexton is a lecturer of Italian at the University of Colorado-Boulder and has been working at this university since 2004. Born and raised in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy, she received her MA in Didactics of Italian Language and Culture, Ca' Foscari University of Venice, where she also completed her undergraduate degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures (English and German).

In addition to working at CU, she also teaches at the University of Denver's University College. Before moving to the United States in 2004, she taught Italian to foreigners in Italy, did marketing for an international company, worked as a translator and interpreter, and served as a tour guide for several Italian travel agencies.
