Bio
 Skyler is a Colorado native. She received her B.A. in History with honors distinction from Grinnell College in 2001. She was the recipient of Grinnell's Ninth Semester Grant for elementary education certification. After a short stint working in Denver Public Schools she taught English at an agricultural high school in rural Japan. Upon her return she entered the University of Colorado’s French and Italian department where she received her M.A. in May of 2005. She is currently writing her dissertation on Victor Hugo's and Jules Michelet's historical writings.
