ITALIAN CONFERENCE
The French and Italian Department presents a lecture by Paolo Cherchi, Professor Emeritus of Italian and Spanish Literature, the University of Chicago and University of Ferrara. Professor Cherchi will analyze the first terzina of the Divine Comedy which contains the key elements of the poem’s form, its story, and its goals. FRENCH MUSICAL PERFORMANCE
The French and Italin Department presents “Le Roi Soleil” a French musical by Kamel Ouali.  “Le Roi Soleil” covers the amorous life of Louis XIV and premiered in Paris in 2005 to general success.  Performances will be Friday December 4th and Saturday December 5th at 8:00 pm, and Sunday December 6th at 2:00 pm in the ATLAS building, Black Box, B-2.  Free and open to the public.  For questions contact Danica Trifunovic at danica.trifunovic@colorado.edu.
