Veterans Educational Benefits

Welcome to the Veterans Educational Benefits Office at the University of Colorado at Boulder. The Veterans Educational Benefits Office is a part of the Office of Financial Aid and helps eligible students apply to the department of Veteran's Affairs for their VA education benefits.

The office has staff members available to answer general education benefit questions and to assist students in the benefits application process. Financial Aid counseling is also available.

The Veterans Educational Benefits Office is located in Regent Administrative Center, room 205. For more information, please call 303-492-7322 or e-mail vet-serv@colorado.edu.

In-State Tuition Status for Veterans

A new law has been passed that will grant In-state Tuition Status to certain honorably discharged Veterans. While all the specific rules have not yet been put in place, we encourage you to contact and apply for this new benefit with the Tuition Classification Office within the Registrar. Post 9/11 GI Bill – Yellow Ribbon Program Application

The Yellow Ribbon Program is a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. Under this new VA program, the University of Colorado at Boulder can provide matching funds to assist students with a portion of their tuition expenses.
