Special Degree Options
The University of Colorado offers three options to expand the content and impact of the Executive MBA degree.
Option #1: Dual Executive MBA/Master of Science degrees
Upon completion of the CU Executive MBA, graduates may earn a second master's degree from the University of Colorado Denver in an accelerated time frame; credit for core courses earned in the Executive MBA is applied to the requirements for the master of science degree. Participants may choose from seven different business disciplines.
Option #2: Executive MBA with an area of specialization through the CU Colorado Springs business school
Upon completion of the CU Executive MBA, graduates may earn an specialization in one of several different business disciplines through the graduate school of business at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Participants take between three and four additional courses to earn an emphasis in an area of business that is of particular interest. These are courses offered on the CU Colorado Spring Campus or distance courses offered via the Internet.
Option #3: Executive MBA with a specialization through the CU Denver business school
Upon completion of the CU Executive MBA, graduates may earn a specialization in one of several different disciplines through the graduate school of business at the University of Colorado Denver. Participants take additional courses to earn a specialization in an area of business that is of particular interest. These are courses offered on the CU Denver Campus or distance courses offered via the Internet.
