Patricia Kaurouma
Lecturer M.Div., Yale University Patricia Kaurouma is a proud Colorado native. As an Africanist, she pioneered in the teaching and research of African American women/family studies, multiculturalism, and black church studies. Patricia has served as a faculty member and academic student affairs administrator at a number of American colleges and universities. She was a founding member of the former Black Studies Program, UC-Boulder. Her awards and recognitions include: Mellon Fellowship, Lilly Grant, and the 2006 Spectrum Newspaper Award as an African American of Achievement. She is an alumnus of UC-Boulder and Yale University. Among her current research projects is one on religion and the arts. Go Buffs! |
