Ph.D., University of Wisconsin - Madison, 2000, is an associate professor whose research interests are in international trade and investment, industrial organization, and corporate finance. His work on the investment decisions of multinational corporations has appeared in top general interest journals and has stimulated a large volume of research internationally. His recent research focuses on the role of trade liberalization on the volume of mergers and acquisitions and on the structure of corporate management. Professor Yeaple is an associate editor at the Journal of International Economics, an editoral advisor for the Canadian Journal of Economics, and a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
