Current Research Interests:
Research activities are focused in three areas: structural modeling and estimation of the link between consumer preferences for spatially delineated public goods (e.g. open space amenities and air pollution) and urban structure; developing models of intra-household decision making; and, understanding the process through which neighborhood composition evolves.

Ph.D., Duke University, 2002, is an assistant professor and specialist in Environmental Economics, Public Economics and Applied Econometrics. His current research activities are focussed in three areas: structural modeling and estimation of the link between consumer preferences for spatially delineated public goods (e.g. open space amenities and air pollution) and urban structure; analyzing the impacts of test-based accountability measures in public schools; and, modeling the responses of firms to environmental regulation.
