Current Research Interests:
My current research focuses on how trade and investment are affected by (i) financial constraints, (ii) multi-stage production and (iii) non-homothetic preferences.

Ph.D., EHESS and Paris School of Economics, 2009, is an assistant professor whose research interests are in international trade and investment, and economic development. He has researched and written on the effect of financial constraints on firm dynamics, trade and wage inequalities across Brazilian regions, technological incompatibilities between foreign and local technologies and the effect of financial constraints on sourcing strategies of multinational firms. His research has been published in the Review of Economics and Statistics, the Journal of International Economics, the Journal of Development Economics, as well as other journals. His current research focuses on the role of: i) financial constraints; ii) multi-stage production; iii) and non-homothetic preferences.
