SYLLABUS

ANNOUNCEMENTS

·        Econometrics is an important pre-requisite for this course. Intermediate Microeconomic theory is a less important pre-requisite.  With additional effort, you may be able to survive if you are concurrently taking econometrics.

 

·        You will have a research partner for the semester with whom you will jointly make presentations and write a research paper.   

·        Identify a topic area you’d like to work in

·        Choose a research partner who has overlapping interests in the same topic area

 

·        Print out some Peer Evaluation Forms from the link below and bring them to class

 

·        Most announcements from now on will be relayed to you by email.  Please check the email address that the university has for you in its records often throughout this semester.

 

ASSIGNMENTS

*     Once you have identified a topic area and a research partner, think of the exact research question(s) you’d like to answer.  Frame it in the form of a question, with a ‘?’ at the end.
