All new users of unsealed ionizing radiation at the University of Colorado are required to complete a Basic Radiation Safety Orientation Module prior to working with any radioactive materials.

Sign up for a training session by calling the Radiation Safety Office at (303) 492-6523. The initial basic course must be completed at the Environmental Health and Safety Center.  It is computer based and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to complete.
