Social Constructions of Difference in Organizations

Welcome! I look forward to an exciting and challenging semester with you.

This course explores theories of social constructionism to explore how we develop and maintain understandings of ourselves as social beings through communication.

We use this understanding to explore how differences such as Race, Class, Gender, Sexuality, Age, and Ability are shaped and sustained organizationally.
