In early 1999, the Network Task Force at the University of Colorado at Boulder was commissioned to:
- identify the campus network needs for the next 3-5 years;
- propose the campus' network infrastructure, including tiered services;
- and review funding options for the
network.
The final report of the task force details the group's recommendations with respect to these items. The task force also prepared a program plan that is a proposal to the Colorado Commission on Higher Education to use state capital construction funds for a portion of the information technology infrastructure improvements.
