The Medieval Latin Studies Group (MLSG) seeks to facilitate research in Medieval Latin language and literature and in the Classical tradition from Late Antiquity to the early Renaissance, to support and enhance the presence of Medieval Latin in Classics departments, to provide a bridge between Classics and Medieval Studies, and to advance the study of Medieval Latin in schools, colleges, and universities. Our annual panel and business meeting are held in conjunction with the meeting of the American Philological Association (APA). The panel provides a forum in which Medieval Latinists can learn of new scholarly and pedagogical developments in the field, share their own research, and receive responses to it. Our business meeting allows the group's members and leadership to discuss and decide upon its activities. The meeting also serves as an information exchange for Medieval Latinists.
