How to Apply

Most of the application procedures are spelled out in the graduate school's paper or on-line application, but please note the following:

1. If you want us to consider you for financial support, the application deadline is January 2. Otherwise the deadline is April 1.
2. We require three, not four, letters of recommendation.
3. We require a writing sample, preferably on a classical subject, the more interesting, substantial, and well-written the better.
4. Two copies of your transcripts should be sent directly to the Classics Department, 340 Eaton Humanities, 248 UCB, University of Colorado, Boulder CO 80309-0248
5. We require scores only from the standard GRE.
