Greek/Latin Ph.D. Reading List

These lists form the basis of the Translation Examinations for the Ph.D., which test competence in the Greek and Latin languages. They are not intended to limit the candidate's reading, but to indicate the range of authors and works in which linguistic competence is expected. Passages on the examinations will be drawn from these lists.
