| The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is internationally recognized
for its research and education. As part of a commitment to continuing this
tradition of excellence the Department provides a graduate program that
integrates opportunities for cutting-edge creative research and study across
of wide range of areas. We believe that the quality of the Department's research program, in combination with a friendly and accessible faculty, offers graduate students an outstanding environment in which to pursue their studies. The quality of our program is clearly indicated by the success former CU students have found as faculty members at colleges and universities around the world and in positions at leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and chemical companies.
