To fulfill our vision we will:
Strengthen citizen problem-solving roles.
Understand how institutions and communities solve problems and the different leadership styles needed to work effectively in each setting.
Build a sense of community among participanats in the program in order to strengthen the undergraduate community at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Expand conceptions of leadership beyond the context of position and power.
Demonstrate leadership through community service.
Promote social responsibility and citizenship, emphasizing the development of community leaders for all sectors of society.
Explore complex problems requiring the use of collaborative processes.
Apply modes of inquiry and knowledge bases of many disciplines to the study and practice of leadership.
Exercise moral judgment, imagination and courage in the practice of leadership.
Promote awareness and appreciation as it relates to racial and ethnic identity.
Create a living and learning enviroment that is ethnically diverse.
