The Leadership Programs at Williams Village

The Leadership Programs at Williams Village strive to be a model 21st century program of Colorado's "Flagship University" by educating first year students for leadership roles in a global and multicultural setting through an innovative, forward looking curriculum that sets high standards for scholarship and leadership and which fosters lasting commitment to the betterment of society.
The Leadership Programs combine theoretical,
historical, practical and experiential knowledge in the study and practice of
leadership. This undergraduate initiative fulfills the strategic goals of the
campus by creating 'living and learning' neighborhoods for students who
desire a 'small college' experience.
- A unique feature of the program is that it offers two living and learning options, the Ethnic Living and Learning Community Leadership Studies Program (ELLC) and the Chancellor's Leadership Studies Program (CLSP).
- The mission of the CLSP is to nurture the development of culturally competent leadership and practice an ethic of civic responsibility and service.
- The mission of the ELLC is to create a supportive multicultural learning community that contributes to the success of students at the University of Colorado and to develop culturally competent leaders who practice an ethic of civic and social responsibility. The program is a member of CU's LEAD Alliance.
Students in both programs are invited to work towards a Certificate in the Study and Practice of Leadership as a part of their undergraduate degree program at CU.
