Overview
UCB Wireless access can be found in almost all buildings on campus, in popular campus life locations, and in most residence halls (Kittredge Complex, Bear Creek, and Family Housing locations do not have UCB Wireless at this time). CU-Boulder’s wireless network consists of a number of permanently installed access points built with 802.11g network hardware that is WiFi certified (802.11b is also supported). The wireless network has been designed
to augment but not replace the existing wired network, offering mobile
connectivity and network accessibility from varied locations, such as
the UMC, the Engineering Center, parts of Norlin Library, various high-tech
classrooms, and many other convenient locations on campus.
