Windows Vista —Resource Center

Overview

Microsoft's release of the Windows Vista operating system has prompted ITS to publish information about the compatibility of our sponsored software (such as CUantivirus) and supported applications (such as CULink). This web site will be updated as compatibility of these programs evolves.

Vista is Recommended

At this time, ITS recommends that new computers purchased run Windows Vista, Enterprise edition. Windows Vista Business edition is suitable to use at CU-Boulder, however, Vista Home and Home Premium editions are not suitable for faculty or staff use at CU-Boulder.
