i>clicker Receiver Frequency

ITS recommends you set the receiver’s frequency if you are teaching in a centrally scheduled room that has a CUClickers frequency sign posted on the wall. This will prevent frequency conflicts from nearby classrooms. To do this:

  1. Start the i>clicker software.
  2. Click on Your Settings and Preferences.
  3. In the Frequency Code section, set the frequency based on the CUClickers frequency sign posted in the classroom.

Before you get started it’s recommended that you remind your students about the frequency, so each student can set their remote’s frequency correctly.

Click here for a list of classroom frequency assignments.

i>clicker Remote Frequency

To set the frequency on an i>clicker remote:

  1. Press down on the On/Off button until the blue power light blinks.
  2. Press the two letter sequence.
  3. The blue power light should now be solid.
