"Campus IT Partners" is
a general term we use to describe a large group of disparate IT (including
telephones, computing and networking) support people on campus, some of
whom are employed by ITS and some of whom are not. Otherwise known as
"Tier 2," this group of people have a close working relationship
with ITS:
IT Support Community:
The IT Support Community includes ITS training, Communication, and all four tiers of the ITS Four Tiered Support Model. Three times a year this community comes together for an event to share information and learn about emerging services and pertinent IT related issues.
Tier 2 Computing Support
Representatives (CSR): Representatives from each department on campus
who act as local points of contact for computing and networking support
in their departments. These representatives provide an integral link between
ITS and each department on campus.
Telecommunication Support Representatives (TSR): Individuals appointed within their departments to act as contacts for telephone an Ethernet orders.
