Joe Jupille (Ph.D., University of Washington, 2000) is Associate Professor of Political Science, Faculty Research Associate in the Political and Economic Change Program at the Institute of Behavioral Science (IBS), Associate Director of the Center to Advance Research and Teaching in the Social Sciences (CARTSS) and Co-Director of the Tocqueville Initiative at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has previously served as Assistant Professor of Political Science at Florida International University and as Co-Director of the Miami European Union Center. His research focuses on European Union (EU) institutions and, increasingly, on institutional choice and international trade.

David Ferris is Professor in and Chair of the Department of Comparative Literature and Humanities at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He previously held positions at the City University of New York, Yale University, and Haverford College. His research interests focus on European literature and art, philosophy, and political theory.

Myka Dunkle completed her B.A. at the University of Colorado in International Affairs and Economics, with a European area focus. She is currently the Assistant Director of the Colorado European Union Center of Excellence. Previously, she worked as a research associate for Bio-Economic Research Associates, and as an intern for the non-profit, Urgent Action Fund for Women's Human Rights.
