Program for Teaching East Asia

Chinese Artifact Trunks

The Teaching East Asia project has four China artifact trunks available to teachers. Each trunk contains from six to fifty articles that enable students to gain a first-hand experience with Chinese culture. Each trunk comes with a set of recommended teaching ideas to help students hypothesize about, analyze, and better understand Chinese life. Trunks include The China Box, the Bao Bao (little treasure) trunk, Chinese New Year trunk, and the bicycle trunk.

Email TEA Staff to learn more. To borrow an artifact trunk, send a signed Artifact Trunk Borrower's Agreement and two separate checks payable to the University of Colorado Foundation: $20 for rental and shipping, $50 for refundable damage deposit.
