Chinese Minor Requirements

Successful completion of two years of university-level course work in Modern Mandarin through CHIN 2120-5 (or equivalent) 18
Minimum of 13 credit hours taken in upper division courses (3000 and 4000-level)
Minimum of 3 credit hours taken in 3000-level or above non-language course(s) indicated by an asterisk below
Total hours for the minor 18

All course work applied to the minor must be completed with a grade of C- or better (no pass/fail work may be applied). The grade point average for all minor degree course work must be equal to 2.00 (C) or higher. Students are allowed to apply no more than 9 credit hours, including 6 upper-division credit-hours of transfer work toward a minor.
