Korczak Boulder County Latino Community Scholarship
Purpose:
The Korczak Boulder County Latino Community Scholarship is open to entering freshmen and continuing full-time students with a major in Arts and Sciences. The applicant must be a current resident of the State of Colorado. A preference for, but not limited to students with the following characteristics will be considered:
- A demonstrated commitment to the Latino community.
- First generation college students.
- A past Korczak scholar who maintains a 2.80 or better GPA and competitively reapplies for continuation of the scholarship.
- Students who demonstrate financial need as a result of filing the Free Application for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA).
One award will be made annually, renewable upon competitive reapplication as long as the recipient remains a full-time student and maintains a minimum GPA of 2.80 in the College of Arts and Sciences. The scholarship may be used for tuition costs only.

Submit the MyCU Scholarship Application and the Korczak Special Topic Essay online at www.colorado.edu/finaid. The application is available beginning December 1 with a deadline of March 1 on the student portal.
Essay topic: Discuss and describe your involvement and commitment to the Latino community.
FAFSA required.
