Undergraduate students can follow the links below for information or help with issues pertaining to advising, their major or minor, graduation requirements, academic policies, student life, assistance with writing, and help in learning a language using various media.
Academic Advising Center
The Academic Advising Center, located in Woodbury 109 (telephone 303-492-7885) handles all student matters such as:
- Academic or scholastic stops
- Dean’s signature
- Dean’s approval
- Grade changes
- Letters of good standing (except for Law or Health, which go to the Preprofessional office in Old Main 1B-90)
- Open-option, French, and Italian advising
- Petitions: late add, late drop, pass/fail
- Reinstatements
- Transfer credit evaluation and pre-approval
University Catalog
The CU catalog contains a summary of campus facilities, programs, and services; descriptions of colleges, schools, and individual departments; and degree requirements, course descriptions, and faculty listings. Archived older catalogs also can be accessed.
Writing Center Online
The CU-Boulder online writing center, where students can connect to a wide variety of resources to help with writing and revising in all subject areas.
Writing and Rhetoric, Program for
Through small intense workshops and a technology-rich writing center, both graduate and undergraduate students can experience high quality writing instruction. Certificate programs are also offered. The PWR is responsible for all campus-wide expository writing instruction.
Writing Center
The Writing Center is a part of the PWR, where students can find one-on-one tutoring as well as computer and multimedia access.
ALTEC
This state-of-the-art facility supports the study of foreign languages and cultures. A large multimedia library of materials offers audio and videotapes, videodiscs, computer programs, CD ROMS, books, journals, and foreign language magazines. And dont miss out on the interactive media labs, for both Mac and PC platforms.
