Arts and Sciences Faculty Positions Notice
The Communication and Society and Sewall Residential Academic Programs (RAPs) seek to jointly hire a 2/3 FTE non-tenure track instructor. Duties will include teaching two classes per year in each RAP and providing service to both programs. We seek an individual who can teach classes pertaining to American history from the 1700’s through the twentieth century, including classes examining the modern cultural history of the United States that have a natural connection to the theme of communication and society.
Required Education (minimum qualifications)
Ph.D in History is required.
Desired Qualifications
Commitment to undergraduate teaching, successful experience teaching first-year college students and developing co-curricular activities for students that grow from courses taught are strongly preferred.
