CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY FACULTY POSITION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO BOULDER

The Clinical Psychology program in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. We seek a broad range of applicants; a candidate’s qualifications are more important than the specific area of expertise. This individual will join a strong Clinical Psychology program and will be encouraged to develop interdisciplinary collaborations with departmental colleagues in the behavioral neuroscience, behavioral genetics, social, cognitive, or developmental subspecialties. The University has outstanding resources for clinical research, including dedicated clinical research space off campus, a brand new 2500 sq foot neuroimaging facility adjacent to the clinic research space, and a Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC) that provides support for clinical research. The selected candidate will have a record of independent research and be expected to develop and maintain a strong extramurally-funded research program, as well as contribute to the department’s undergraduate and graduate teaching mission, including an interest in clinical supervision. Applications are accepted electronically at https://www.jobsatcu.com/, posting #818578, and should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, three relevant reprints, and 1-2 page statements of research and teaching plans. You also must provide the names and e-mail addresses of three professional references, who will be asked to submit their letters electronically at https://www.jobsatcu.com/. A review of completed applications will begin on Oct. 15, 2012 and will continue until the position is filled. The University of Colorado is an equal opportunity employer. See www.Colorado.edu/ArtsSciences/Jobs/ for a full job description.
