Arts and Sciences Faculty Positions Notice
Jewish History, Assistant Professor, tenure-track. The history department at the University of Colorado Boulder seeks a tenure-track assistant professor in Jewish history, medieval period to the present. The position will start August 2013. The person who is hired must have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. in history or in Jewish Studies with specialized training in history by August 19, 2013. Teaching experience is desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching, conduct independent research, and participate in the Program in Jewish Studies. This position is vital to the department’s innovative graduate program, which emphasizes global, transnational, and thematic preparation and connects students and faculty across individual fields.
