Transition from Temporary to Rostered Appointment February 2004

The College will consider offering an Instructor contract to lecturers or part-time instructors who have taught 50% or more during each of the previous three academic years. The new appointment will be as a rostered Instructor. Requests for this instructorship require a supporting vote of the department/program executive committee or of the faculty.

The difference, if any, between what the instructor has been paid and the salary he/she will be paid as a rostered instructor will be borne either by the department or by the dean's office, depending upon the circumstances surrounding the rostering. When the instructor leaves the University any additional funding supplied by the Dean's office returns to the College.
