Documents to be Kept in Departments/Programs

Each department/program must have these documents, specific to its department/program, and approved by the Dean:

  1. Process of Merit Evaluation
  2. Reappointment/Promotion/Tenure Procedures
  3. By-Laws
  4. Method of Making Awards to Faculty, Staff, and Students (process here)
  5. Student Grievance Procedure
  6. Faculty Grievance Procedure

These documents must be kept in the department as well:

  1. Personnel Files: copies of all documents related to hire, reviews.
  2. Program Review Policies - including the self-study with the department's strategic plan
  3. Program Review Final Report
  4. Diversity plan
