- 15: Faculty Affairs' New Faculty Orientation and College's New Faculty Social.
- 20: Catalog narrative and faculty listing tearsheets due to Noah Larsen.
- 20: Accepted letters of offer due to Dean's office with a start date any time in August.
September:
Activities
- Preliminary sabbatical eligibility list sent to depts by Susan Sires.
- New Chairs' workshops.
- College's New Faculty Orientation.
- Spring Schedule of Courses finalized.
- Update access begins for Summer Schedule of Courses.
- A&S Curriculum Committee meeting.
Deadlines
- 15: Catalog course tearsheets due back to Noah Larsen.
- 20: Accepted letters of offer due to Dean's office with a start date any time in September.
October:
Activities
- Tenure/Promotion dinner.
- A&S Curriculum Committee meeting.
- Specific Room Requests for Summer due to Dean Nishikawa.
- Call for Distinguished Professor nominations.
- Call for College Professor of Distinction nominations.
- Course Fees check for Spring.
Deadlines
- 1: Comprehensive review dossiers due to Janice Jeffryes.
- 15: Summer school memo sent by Meredith Kroenlein with department/ program's budget allocation.
- 20: Accepted letters of offer due to Dean's office with a start date any time in October.
- 31: Request to Rollforward $1000 (XQK) balances from prior fiscal year due.
November:
Activities
- A&S Curriculum Committee meeting.
- Summer Schedule of Courses finalized.
- Update access begins for Fall Schedule of Courses.
Deadlines
- 1: Promotion/tenure dossiers due to Janice Jeffryes.
- 1: Pre-nominations for Distinguished Professor due to Susan Sires.
- 15: Sabbatical applications due to Susan Sires.
- 15: Summer budgets are due on web-based interface, for Dean Nishikawa to review.
- 20: Accepted letters of offer due to Dean's office with a start date any time in November.
December:
Activities
- A&S Curriculum Committee meeting.
- Specific Room Requests for Fall due to Dean Nishikawa.
- Request Analysis for Spring course offerings.
Deadlines
- 1: Post Tenure Review confirmation list due back to Susan Sires.
- 10: Summer budget approvals. Confirmation sent by Burt Rashbaum. Letters of offer can be prepared.
- 15: Leave reports from previous spring semester sabbaticals due to the Dean.
- 15: Catalog final page proofs sent out to departments and programs (both narrative and course description sections) by Noah Larsen.
- 18: Catalog page proofs due back to Noah Larsen.
- 20: Spring letters with candidates' acceptances due to Dean's office.
- 20: Accepted letters of offer due to Dean's office with a start date any time in December.
January:

- 5: Promotion to full professor dossiers due to Janice Jeffryes.
- 15: Distinguished Professor dossiers due to Susan Sires.
- 20: Accepted letters of offer due to Dean's office with a start date any time in January.
February:
Activities
- Early Feb: Fall Schedule of Courses finalized.
- A&S Curriculum Committee meeting.
- Preliminary Merit Roster sent to departments by Vivien Roach.
Deadlines
- 1: Instructor reappointment notebooks due to Susan Sires.
- 15: Faculty Report of Professional Activities (FRPA) due to Faculty Affairs via the web.
- 20: Accepted letters of offer due to Dean's office with a start date any time in February.
March:
Activities
- A&S Curriculum Committee meeting.
- Save Spaces form for Fall due to Meredith Kroenlein.
- Course Fees check for Summer.
- Chair and associate chair letters of offer need to be processed for upcoming academic year.
Deadlines
- 20: Accepted letters of offer due to Dean's office with a start date any time in March.
- 31: Classified staff performance evaluations due to Bernadette Stewart.
April:
Activities
- Update access begins for Spring Schedule of Courses.
- A&S Curriculum Committee meeting.
- Search requests begin coming in to the divisional associate deans for upcoming year's search cycle.
- Faculty Merit Process begins, handled by Vivien Roach.
- Professional Exempt reviews due to Susan Sires.
- Instructor reappt notification to depts (due the following February 1).
- Chairs and candidates for next year's promotion/tenure review cycle meet with Dean's office.
- Faculty Performance Evaluation forms due to Vivien Roach.
Deadlines
- 1: Classified staff performance plans due to Bernadette Stewart.
- 20: Accepted letters of offer due to Dean's office with a start date any time in April.
- 20: Summer Research salary requests due with a start date any time in May.
- 20: Summer Maymester letters of offer deadline (returned with ALL signatures).
May:
Activities
- Chair/Director dinner.
- A&S Curriculum Committee meeting.
- Five-Year Inactive Course list sent to departments.
- Advanced Placement/International Baccalaureate credit reviews, handled by Meredith Kroenlein.
- Faculty Merit Process concludes.
- Review budget to ensure all Leaves and Replacements requests have been made, and associated money received, prior to fiscal year end (June 30).
Deadlines
- 1: Post Tenure Reviews due to Susan Sires.
- 15: Leave reports from previous fall semester sabbaticals due to the Dean.
- 15: Financial requests (other than search requests) are due for the coming academic year, for the categories of classified or exempt professional staff support, graduate education, faculty support, undergraduate programming, infrastructure, other.
- 20: Accepted letters of offer due to Dean's office with a start date any time in May.
- 20: Summer Terms A, C, and D letters of offer deadline (returned with ALL signatures).
June:
Activities
- Course Fees check for Fall.

- 20: Summer Term B letters of offer deadline (returned with ALL signatures).
July:

- Specific Room Requests for Spring due to Dean Nishikawa.

- 1: Faculty Stipend Adjustment forms due to Faculty Affairs.
- 15: Catalog Narrative, faculty listing, and course tearsheets sent to catalog liaisons by Noah Larsen.
- 20: Accepted letters of offer due to Dean's office with a start date any time in July.
