Department of Theatre and Dance
The University of Colorado at Boulder Department of Theatre and Dance invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Theatre. The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate classes, and specialize in nonwestern theatre and/or contemporary performance. PhD required at time of appointment, August 2008. Desired qualifications include: a record of high quality publication; at least two years of post-secondary teaching; demonstrated interest in women's and gender issues; and knowledge of theatre/performance practice. We anticipate hiring at the assistant professor level. However, applications at other levels will be considered from those who would strengthen the Department's diversity.
