Africa, Assistant Professor, tenure-track.
The History Department at the University of Colorado at Boulder invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in African history to begin August 2008.All research specialties and periods are welcome, though the department is particularly interested in scholars with a transnational focus and who can also develop courses in world history. The department also has interests in Atlantic World exchanges and colonial and post-colonial history. Qualified applicants will have a Ph.D. in History by the time of appointment, will be able to teach survey, upper division and graduate courses, and will demonstrate potential for quality scholarship and evidence of effective teaching.
