Assistant Professor
The Department of Ethnic Studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in American Indian Studies. We are most interested in social science scholars whose research and scholarly interests stress an interdisciplinary and analytically comparative approach to Ethnic Studies. The candidate should have a demonstrated ability to engage in applied work with tribes, the Indian community, and with American Indian students. Candidates must demonstrate the potential for excellence in research, teaching, and service. The Ph.D is required by time of appointment. The search committee will begin to read applications on November 19, 2007, and will continue the process until the position is filled. The appointment begins Fall 2008.
