Tenure-track Assistant Professor (2 positions)

Group Interaction and/or Organizational Communication

The Department of Communication at the University of Colorado at Boulder invites applications for two positions, one at the rank of Assistant Professor and one at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. We seek candidates whose teaching and research interests complement and extend our existing strengths of group interaction and organizational communication. In particular, we are interested in scholars whose research is in one or more of the following areas: (a) processes of deliberation, conflict, or collaboration, (b) discourse in institutions, (c) gender, culture, and identity, or (d) organizational change and social responsibility. We are particularly interested in candidates who may connect to campus research initiatives by investigating issues relating to science, health, or the environment. New faculty will teach courses in the areas of group interaction and/or organizational communication, and will have the opportunity to develop courses in their areas of specialization.
