Hazel Barnes Flat

The Hazel Barnes Flat in the heart of London is a gift to scholars in the humanities and arts by Hazel Barnes (1915-2008), the much admired professor of Philosophy at CU-Boulder and founder of the Interdisciplinary Program in the Humanities. Her will stipulates that the flat be made available to faculty and graduate students in the humanities and the arts, and that its operation be entrusted to the Center for Humanities and the Arts and its director. details

CHA Faculty Fellowships

The Center for Humanities and the Arts (CHA) invites all Assistant, Associate, and Full Professors in the Humanities and the Arts to apply to become a CHA Fellow. Fellowships consist of a two-course teaching reduction, either to be taken in one semester or spread over the academic year. The selection committee will consider the intellectual merit of the project, the overall excellence of the applicant’s academic record, and the timeliness of the project in the applicant’s career. The selection committee consists of three senior humanists/artists unaffiliated with CU-Boulder. details
