Globalization isn't Working:
1. Economic Growth &
Global Trade have created
vast wealth
for a few
2. But Globalization doesn't solve vital global problems.
3. Increasing poverty and
unemployment
4. Increasing environmental destruction
5. Increasing social instability caused by poverty & environmental destruction.
6. Globalization is making these problems worse.
7. Local control, not global free trade and free-market capitalism, will allow people to democratically choose their own future. Korten focuses on local political solutions.
