Scholarship Background | How to Apply | Application Scholarship Background The Puksta family has committed to supporting a scholarship program for undergraduate students who have a strong commitment to civic responsibility and high ethical standards. The program is also supported by the CU-Parent Fund. The Puksta Scholars program consists of a small number of students who will receive $4,500 annual scholarships, renewable for up to four years. Puksta scholars are people with strong academic goals, who want to be role models and who want to bring about positive change within our campus and society. We will accept new and continuing scholar applications for the 2009-10 academic year. The application process for each is different. Click on “Application” for information. Please note that new scholar applications are due February 2, 2009. Application 2009-10 NEW PUKSTA SCHOLAR APPLICATION PUKSTA SCHOLARS 2009-10 RE-APPLICATION PROCESS Scholarships may be renewable based upon available funding and successful completion of program requirements. The re-application process entails submission of a draft Re-application/Final Report and a presentation . Note: all scholars regardless of whether they re-apply need to submit the report and make a presentation. Re-applications will be evaluated on the following criteria. *Quality of Puksta Project work * Fulfill hours requirement of an average of 6-8 hours a week, which includes planning and preparation time. * Attendance at Puksta events. * Attend meetings with Puksta advisor. * Submit required project plan, reports and make a re-application/final presentation. Timeline:2/27/09– Draft Re-application/Final Report due to Mike Grant 3/4/09 and 3/9/09– Re-application/Project Presentations 4/3/09– Final Report due to Puksta Advisor 4/10/09– 2009-10 Scholarship letters mailed
