Mark Amerika is a writer, publisher, and web artist. He is on the international lecture circuit and speaks on web publishing, hyper-text fiction, theory of Avant-pop literature, and the future of narrative art in network culture. He was a Creative Writing Fellow at Brown University where he developed the Grammatron project, a multi-media narrative for network-distributed environments. Amerika is the publisher of Alt-X an on-line publishing network. Another project Amerika created was Hypertextual Consciousness.
