Eric is a senior in Aerospace Engineering at CU and has a Russian minor. He graduated from Arvada West HS in Arvada, CO where he was a member of the Odyssey of the Mind team and was chosen for the Gifted and Talented Autonomous Learner Program there. As a college student he has worked for several campus safety programs and is a member of Explorer Post 493 (emergency management post) in Boulder, CO. He has also worked for the Colorado Space Grant Consortium on the Citizen Explorer-1 small satellite, scheduled to launch near the end of 2000, as a Systems team member. Eric’s areas of career interest are in manned space flight, military aviation and systems engineering.

On the TUAV project, Eric’s job is systems engineering and quality control. Working with John Purvis on the SolidWorks (CAD) models and eventually the fabrication of the vehicle, he also provides a second check for many of the design changes and considerations.
