Professor Emeritus Duane Sather passed away in November of 2016. Duane was born in 1933, and got his PhD in 1963 from the University of Minnesota. He joined the Boulder faculty as an associate Professor in 1969 and did research on Partial Differential Equations and Fluid Mechanics until he retired in 1998.
